The RAV4 is an aggressive and muscular SUV with very sharp looks. At the front, it gets a small but sporty looking grille. It also gets sharp-looking headlamps and fog lamps. The side profile gets a lot of sharp lines. Modern buyers do prefer muscular looking cars. So Toyota can actually score good in this department with the RAV4.

This hybrid variant comes with a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder, Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with a 218bhp in the two-wheel variant. In the four-wheel-drive variant, the figures touch 222bhp. Toyota has been looking to bring in strong hybrids to India as well and RAV4 could be first off the lot to kickstart its strategy.

The interior of the RAV4 is very modern. It gets a premium-looking dashboard with an 8.0-inch infotainment system in the middle. Other unique features include Toyota’s Safety Sense 2.0, multi-link rear suspension, etc. However, Toyota might create a balance by removing some features to reduce the price. Competitive pricing will be key here as Indian customers do consider the overall value for money prospect before buying anything.
